• TOM PRICE is one of the most Important "new" towns in the states Pilbara region, named after an American geologist who played a key role in identifying the enormous mineral wealth of the Hamersley Range. 

  Tom Price is the stepping off point for exploration of the Spectacular KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK. and visitors are well catered for with a range of accommodation and services in the town and area.

  The proximity of the town to the spectacular Hamersley Range and an opportunity to view the open cut mining operation make the town a popular stopping point. 

  Take a drive out to Hamersley Gorge or do a half-day tour of Mt Sheila and Hamersley Gorge, take a trip up Mt Nameless and you can enjoy magnificent views from the summit. Use Tom Price as a base while visiting the breath taking Karijini National Park.
